Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 24, 2026

1. Acceptance. By using royalemotionalcare.com ("Site"), operated by Royal Emotional Care, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Not Emergency Care. The Site does not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
3. No Therapeutic Relationship. Site content is for general information only and is not clinical advice. A therapist-client relationship is established only after intake, consent forms, and acceptance by a licensed clinician.
4. Appointments. Requests submitted through the Site are requests only and are not confirmed until we respond. Cancellation, no-show, and rescheduling policies are provided at intake and apply to all appointments.
5. Payments. Fees are disclosed before services begin. Payments made through the Site are processed by third-party processors subject to their own terms. Charges are non-refundable except as required by law or agreed in writing.
6. Telehealth. Telehealth services are available only to clients physically located in states where our clinicians are licensed. You are responsible for a private location and adequate internet connection.
7. Privacy. Use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Notice and, where applicable, our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. Do not send protected health information through unsecured email or website forms.
8. Acceptable Use. You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, or submit false, unlawful, or infringing content.
9. Intellectual Property. All Site content, marks, and materials are owned by Royal Emotional Care and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
10. Third-Party Links. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or privacy policies of linked third-party sites.
11. Disclaimer. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Royal Emotional Care is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site.
13. Changes. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in Contra Costa County.
